Our feeding program builds healthy and stronger communities.

When Dreaming for Change started the feeding program, we thought we were going to help 80 children who were stunted, but after some weeks, the center started getting many children from different villages, who were food insecure. The children were brought by their mothers and other family members who cannot rely on access to sufficient affordable and nutritious food. Almost all the children were severe malnourished. They were unable to go to school because of their weak health condition. It is exhausting to see these innocent human beings’ bodies looking so thin and skeletal.

Currently Dreaming for Change serves a three days nutritional porridge to 450 vulnerable children who come from the places where accessing healthy and affordable food can be a challenge. Mothers reported that this program gave a second chance to their children to survive because they’re now recovering from stunting and the results are beautiful. Every child is weighed regularly and D4C keeps track of their growth.
