Cedrick Ndagijimana, is in preschool level 3. According to his teacher, Cedrick has had language disorder since he came to Butanuka Community Academy school. He didn’t enjoy school in the beginning and it was very difficult for him to perform well in school.

His teacher talked to Cedrick’s parents to learn more about Cedrick’s past. Parents didn’t give time to their boy and Cedrick was isolated. His parents were busy and didn’t find a time for him even in the weekends. The teacher explained to parents that they’re the most important teachers for their children at home. Through play, care, storytelling, music and teacher’s visits, Cedrick recovered from language disorder and he had been doing well in school. His parents are grateful to Dreaming for Change’s school and teachers.
